Since 1980 we have developed a reputation for working successfully at all levels in a wide range of organisation size and sector - Aerospace, Computers, Construction, Government Agencies, Local Government, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas Exploration and Production, Pharmaceuticals, Public Utilities.
Programmes of facilitation, consultancy and training have been designed and run in all parts of the UK, across Europe and in Africa. Hendry Performance Development Ltd is a professional organisation with a reputation for delivering the goods.
We constantly monitor and refine the effectiveness of the programmes we deliver both with our clients and with participants.

Our core team of consultant-trainer Associates is well qualified to provide a high level of professional support to our clients. We have others on whom we may call should the need arise.

Tony Hendry

Tony’s knowledge and experience of training and development is extensive, having worked as a Company Training Manager, an Assessor for the National Training Awards Competition for 14 years and as an accredited consultant for Investors in People. He is also accredited by the Center For Leadership Studies as a trainer for Situational Leadership and as a Registered Presenter for the CPD Certification Service.

As those who have worked with him know, Tony takes an enthusiastic and pragmatic approach to learning and development, providing participants with practical tools to improve their performance. These are based on his 35+ years experience as supervisor, manager and consultant in a wide range of industry sectors.

Since July 2006, Tony Hendry has worked with several Libyan companies providing each of them in turn with specially-designed soft skills training courses and team development events.

Glyn Berrington B.Tech, C.Eng, MRAeS, FCIPD

Glyn has spent 35 years in the Aerospace industry in Europe, firstly in electronic systems design for civil and military aircraft moving on to automatic pilots and electronic subsystems in commercial aircraft.

He then moved in to a training role in the missile industry and has worked with all levels of staff, from Board of Director level to apprentices, designing and delivering training and facilitating board of director workshops.

His most recent roles are in the Space business in Europe where he has held responsibility for Key Resource identification, assessment and development; Management Development; creating a Space School and implementing Black Belt process improvement training returning a £2M real return on investment within its first year alone.

Glyn is a very accomplished facilitator and trainer and the winner of a National Training Award.

Jan Saunt

Jan has been a Professional Trainer since 2000. Before that she developed and ran her own successful sales and telemarketing company, employing around 25 staff, working for companies such as Acer, Symantec and Microsoft. It was through the training of her own staff that she developed a passion for training other people.

Jan now specialises in helping businesses to grow through effective training skills in the areas of sales, negotiations, leadership, customer service and time management. She is passionate about interactive workshops based on actual case study simulations and role plays for increasing the learning process.

Peter Miller-Smith

Peter has considerable experience of developing businesses, leading teams and motivating people. He has worked with a number of companies on business and marketing planning, sales development, team building and customer service development. Peter coaches managers and executives.

Peter spent much of his career as an executive with 3M Corporation, starting out as a financial controller, and then working in the sales and marketing environment.

He spent nine years in Brussels, the USA and The Netherlands. During this time he successfully ran a number of businesses for 3M, managing teams both locally and dispersed around different regions and countries.

Having set up a successful business some years ago, it was a natural step to set up his consultancy on leaving 3M.

Currently Peter is an independent business development consultant and Coach focusing on working with individuals and businesses in the areas of sales and marketing, business development, developing new and experienced managers, developing coaches.

Peter’s unique skills are his business experience and expertise, coupled with his intuition, his ability to know when to push and when to leave the client be, whether coaching people in business or young emerging talent.

Peter works with a wide variety of clients, both large corporate, SMEs, and individuals.

Peter is qualified as a coach, in Myers-Briggs and has a BA in Business Studies.

Miranda Salmon

The main focus of Miranda’s work is in interpersonal skills and supervisory management.
Over many years she has worked with a wide range of client groups from social workers to young offenders, shop floor engineers to senior managers. In that time she has provided both stand alone workshops focused on specific topics and ongoing input into established educational qualification programmes such as the Certificate in Management Studies.

She is an experienced facilitator well used to helping groups to communicate their points of view and to come to decisions about the way forward

Bill Krouwel, MA, ACIS, FITOL

Bill Krouwel has over twenty years’ experience as a trainer of managers. After qualifying as a Chartered Secretary, he joined a packaging and printing company as Training Officer rising to Company Training Manager before taking up an appointment as Regional Personnel Manager for a large retailer. In 1978 he was invited to join the management team of Lindley Educational Trust to which he introduced Management Development Outdoors, a training medium in which he has been closely involved ever since.

In 1984, Bill set up as an independent consultant, specialising in practical and imaginative approaches to personal, management and team development using the outdoors. His work has involved him with a wide range of organisations worldwide.

Bill has publised books and articles on the effective use of the outdoors for management development.

Bill holds a Masters in Management Learning from Lancaster University, maintains his Chartered Secretaryship, and is a Fellow of ITOL. (The Institute if Training and Organisational Learning). Apart from his long-term involvement in experiential approaches to management learning, Bill is qualified and experienced as a Myers-Briggs and Firo-B practitioner.

Bill’s greatest skill is in designing and delivering positive and intelligent vehicles for personal and management learning
